Biglietto da visita per chi arriva in città, prima uscita della statale 16 bis per chi arriva da Bari e da tutte le città limitrofe che si trovano nella direttrice verso il capoluogo, la zona si presenta come fortemente necessitante di manutenzione ordinaria, e visto lo stato dei luoghi soprattutto straordinaria.
Le radici degli alberi hanno divelto interi tratti di manto stradale, creando delle pericolosissime dunette che trasformano la strada in un percorso che mette a dura prova gli ammortizzatori e la pazienza degli automobilisti. Anche la pista ciclabile è stata travolta dal fenomeno, trasformata in qualcosa che sarebbe idoneo anche come percorso di motocross, ricco di dunette che garantiscono salti da stuntman.
Bisogna procedere quindi con testa bassa, scrutando attentamente il suolo; ma non solo, il pericolo può arrivare anche dall’alto. Sono molti infatti gli alberi di pino i cui rami necessitano di manutenzione, alcuni invece si configurano già come un pericolo alla sicurezza degli automobilisti, dei ciclisti o dei semplici pedoni che magari si avventurano nella zona per una corsetta o per una passeggiata. A minacciarli alcuni rami vertiginosamente e pericolosamente pendenti verso il suolo, in attesa che la forza di gravità svolga il suo compito attirando a terra il pezzo di arbusto provato dal peso delle folte cime. Tante le segnalazioni sui social negli ultimi mesi di residenti nelle villette presenti in zona riguardo la precaria manutenzione del verde in tutta l’area, già provata da altri problemi come il grande numero di furti in casa.
Un benvenuto a Trani che una città turistica come la perla dell’adriatico, che su questo aspetto sta sviluppando l’intero settore economico – sociale, non può assolutamente permettersi.

For those arriving in the city from Bari and neighbouring towns, at the first exit of the State Highway 16, as visiting card they will only find an area that needs an “extraordinary” maintenance.
Tree roots have torn up entire sections of the road surface, modifying the road into really dangerous dunes that create a path which tests both drivers’ shock absorbers and patience. Also the cycle path has been involved becoming a motocross path, full of little dunes that allow stuntman jumps.
That is why it’s important to move with the head down, looking carefully on the ground. But it doesn’t end here! The danger also comes from above: there are indeed many pine trees whose branches need maintenance, others instead are already dangerous for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians’ safety who probably just want to take a walk or run. This because their branches are dangerously leaning towards the ground, just waiting for the gravity to do its job by pulling down the weight-tested piece of bush.
In the past months there have been many reports on social media from who lives in this neighbourhood regarding the precarious maintenance of green areas, already tested by other problems like the large number of thefts.
